The exhibition The Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art will organize in the spring of 2012, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations. The exhibition, which will be visible from 10 May to 19 August 2012, will explore the similarities between the two Italian designers belonging to different epochs.
Inspired by the "Impossible Interviews" by Miguel Covarrubias for Vanity Fair of the '30s, the curators Harold Koda and Andrew Bolton will create fictitious conversations between these two iconic women, to suggest new interpretations of their work is extremely innovative.
